Terms of use

1. Who provides the service

The MedFiszki app is published by Instaling sp. z o.o. ("we"), a company registered in Poland. Contact: instaling@instaling.pl. By downloading and running the app you accept these terms.

2. What is free and what is paid

The app is free to download and use, covering:

• 60 terms from the first section of the bundled base,
• all study modes on those terms,
• statistics, reminders, adding your own cards by hand,
• creating and restoring your own backup.

Paid unlocking covers:

• the remaining terms of the bundled base (1,638 out of 1,698),
• the file import wizard (CSV, Anki, SuperMemo).

3. One-off purchase and subscriptions

You buy access to the full base in one of three ways, selectable on the purchase screen in the app:

• Lifetime access — a single payment. You buy once and it stays with you; nothing renews and nothing expires.
• Yearly subscription — renews every 12 months until you cancel.
• Monthly subscription — renews every month until you cancel.

Prices are shown by the store on the purchase screen, in your currency and with the taxes due in your country. This page is not a price offer — the amount displayed at the moment of purchase is what binds.

Renewal and cancellation. A subscription renews automatically and is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You cancel it in your store account settings (Google Play → Subscriptions, App Store → Subscriptions) — not in the app and not with us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period: until then you keep full access.

When a subscription lapses the paid terms go back behind the gate, but your study progress is not lost — it stays on the device untouched. If you resubscribe, reviews pick up exactly where they were.

4. Offline operation

Once a purchase is confirmed, the entitlement is stored locally and the app works without an internet connection. A failed check against the store — because you have no signal or the store does not answer — never takes your access away.

For subscriptions the app re-confirms validity with the store from time to time, whenever a connection appears. If a subscription expires while the device stays offline, access continues for a further 14 days from the end of the billing period. Turning the device clock back is treated as an attempt to circumvent this mechanism.

5. Restoring a purchase

A purchase is tied to your store account, not to a device. After changing phones or reinstalling, sign in to the same account and use Restore purchase on the purchase screen. That one operation requires an internet connection.

6. Refunds and withdrawal

Refunds are handled by the store where the purchase was made — we have no access to your payment. Requests go through Google Play (Help → Refund) or the App Store (reportaproblem.apple.com).

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a contract for the supply of digital content. That right is lost once performance begins with your express consent and after you acknowledge losing it — that is, at the moment the full base is unlocked in the app.

7. How you may use the content

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to study with the bundled term base. You may not copy, resell, publish or publicly share it in whole or in substantial part, nor extract it from the application file for further distribution.

Cards you write yourself or import from your own file remain yours. We claim no rights to them and have no access to them.

9. Liability

We take care that the app works correctly and that the terms are accurate, but we do not warrant uninterrupted operation or error-free content. We are liable under the general rules of Polish civil law; we are not liable for the loss of study data caused by uninstalling the app, device failure or the absence of a backup, which you create yourself.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you as a consumer by mandatory provisions of law.

10. Complaints, changes, governing law

Send complaints to instaling@instaling.pl; we reply within 14 days. Changes to these terms will be announced by updating this page along with its date; for running subscriptions, changes apply from the next billing period. Polish law governs, which does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the law of your country of habitual residence.
